3.5 stars Came with some friends who on the quest to find best Jajangmyeon, they used to live in Korea so the expectations are high. We order Large Jajangmyeon, tangsuyuk to share, fried rice also combo jjampong/Jajangmyeon. Everything looks really good, but lacking in flavor. Jajangmyeon is the better option, smell really really good, but it taste kind of bland. We struggle to finish the jjampong. Tangsuyuk is not the best, but pretty good. Banchan is meh. They gave you small little sweet donut dessert for free.

Cuisine: 7 Service: 6 Decor: 6 Value: 7 Overall: 7 Word of advice, just come for the ja jang myun and you'll have a decent meal. The noodles are perfectly cooked, smooth with an excellent chew. I prefer the pork or beef sauce more than the others, but their spicy one is not a bad change up sometimes. However, be warned that there is a natural sweetness to the sauce due to the onions that turn some people off. With that said, I'm not a big fan of most of their other offerings like stews, battered and stir fry items. On our most recent visit, we had the shrimp poong gi and scorched rice soup with seafood. Neither were bad, but also nothing I really want again. Once again, just come for their signature noodles.

I had been craving Korean Chinese food for the longest time and was so excited to finally come here when I learned that Flushing/Murray Hill had a Korean population and many restaurants to explore! I ordered the Jjajangmyeon and Jjamppong combo and really enjoyed them. I loved the chew in the noodles and how sauced up they were. On the soup side, I was a bit intimidated by the deep red color of the broth because I don't have the best spice tolerance. However, it was still manageable and delicious and I couldn't help but keep eating it. The portions were just right too in my opinion and I would absolutely order this again if I come back. My table got a half and half sweet and sour chicken and pork combo to share and I thought they were pretty good. In my opinion, the flavor of the fried chicken was more present than the pork one. I felt like the pork one seemed almost bland compared to the chicken. The sauce was stickier than I usually have but perhaps that is just how it is cooked. I think the crispiness of the pork could've shined through more if it had a little bit less sauce coated on it. Regardless, this meal definitely satisfied my cravings for Korean Chinese food and I am so excited to eat my way through the neighborhood. There seems to be many delicious authentic spots!

Excellent service and food. Spicy Jajangmyeon had good flavor, and the noodles here are really good with nice chew.

삼선짜장면 (SEAFOOD JJA JANG MYUN) - Weak sauce, good noodle portion and sea food/veggies 짬뽕 (SEAFOOD JJAM PONG)- Good clean, not too spicy broth , good portion service- Complimentary dessert was my favorite part- crunchy and sweet. Ambiance- standard Korean non-contemporary diner, big picture +name of the food on the wall If I go again, unless I am craving those two food specifically, I might try something else on the menu. Fair but weren't a standout (3.5).

Went out for Father's Day dinner with my family since Dad wanted to try Korean Chinese food. Wow, the servings were ENORMOUS!!! We ordered 4 dishes for the 3 of us and we had sooo much leftover. The mushroom dish was lovely. The sweet sour chicken and pork were fine. But the seafood ja hang noodles were the highlight! So much seafood and came sizzling to the table, yum!

We got there right when they opened. We were seated right away. It's a small little shop with a few (very few) parking spots in the front. My friend said parking in the area can be pretty tough. Inside it was relatively small. I ordered the Jjam Jja myun. I loved the seafood part. The broth was slightly spicy and flavorful with plenty of seafood. There was octopus, mussels, shrimp, and lots of noodles. My daughter was ok with her Don Katsu. The pork was crispy and the portion was generous. She didn't like the sauce for the Don Katsu or the salad but she enjoyed the meat and rice. There was also fried pork for the table. Koreans really know how to fry their meat. It was hot and crispy. Even when it got cold it was still crispy. I'm not an expert of Korean food but it had the comfort of home cooking. By the time we left there were people waiting for our table.

Tried this place with a few friends. Their interior is very simple, your classic korean/chinese restaurant. The service was fast and all of the staff was very nice. They do have the dishes were you can pick half jjangmyeon and half of the seafood noodle soup but we all just went for the jjangmyeon. I got the small and my friends got the large size but these portions were HUGE. Even my small size, I could not finish it all and had to bring some home. And the best part is I'm pretty sure mine was only $10. This was such a classic and solid jjangmyeon for just $10. We also got a sweet and spicy pork which was good as well. Loved the crispiness of the pork and the flavors of the sauce. Overall this is a great place for a comforting and affordable meal. Will be back again!

Great little spot in Murray Hill. In an area full of Korean restaurants, this one stands out for its comfort/homey food. Love how you can get half portions of their popular noodles or fried pork/chicken. I can never get tired of eating jajangmyeon. Service is super friendly and helpful. Always love coming here
